Get Your Ten On

The light installation "Get Your Ten On" by Michael Niemetz, which is a linguistic interplay of the vowels in the title - "Ten" instead of "Tan" - becomes the experiment made to skip the object art altogether. The ten tanning bed bulbs floating freely in the back of the gallery radiate UV light, which has a direct effect on the bodies of the visitors. Even if someone does not look at the work, it literally goes under ones skin.
